HAVE YOUR SAY!

L’obiettivo del Workshop è costruire ponti tra tutti gli stakeholders interessati all’accoglienza e all’integrazione delle persone migranti e, più in generale, riflettere sui processi di inclusione e integrazione dei gruppi e delle comunità allogene nel territorio viterbese, mettendo a disposizione della società civile organizzata e delle istituzioni il supporto e le competenze dell’Università della Tuscia. Il Workshop si propone altresì di rafforzare la capacità di inclusione dell’Università della Tuscia, favorendo la partecipazione attiva della comunità studentesca e l’attenzione ai bisogni educativi speciali. 

 

Il Workshop si concluderà con la premiazione di due contest studenteschi: il primo di scrittura creativa, dedicato alle sfide dell’integrazione e finanziato dalla Camera civile di Viterbo, il Rotary e il Rotaract; il secondo relativo alla realizzazione di video sull’importanza degli studi giuridici ed europei, finanziato attraverso fondi di Ateneo relativi all’Orientamento attivo.  

On Monday 17 April, from 2:30 p.m. onwards, the third edition of the Workshop “Have Your Say! will take place within the framework of the activities of the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on the Integration of Migrants in Europe (IntoME).

 

This year’s Workshop aims at building bridges among all relevant stakeholders interested in the reception and integration of migrants and, more generally, to reflect on the processes of inclusion and integration of third country nationals and diasporas in the territory of Viterbo and province, putting the knowledge and expertise of Tuscia academics and administrative staff in the service of civil society and institutions. The Workshop also aims to strengthen the University of Tuscia’s inclusive attitude, encouraging the active participation of the student community, with a special focus on special educational needs. 

 

The Workshop will host the ceremony for the conferral of prizes awarded by two student competitions: the first is a creative writing competition on the challenges of integration, financed by the Civil Chamber of Viterbo, along with the Rotary and Rotaract clubs; the second is a video contest on the importance of legal and European studies, financed by the University’s Active Orientation funds.
