Migration & Artificial Intelligence:
What Future for Migration and Asylum Policy in the EU?

The 2024 edition of the ADiM’s Doctoral & Postdoctoral Colloquium – organized in collaboration with the Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence on the Integration of Migrants in Europe (IntoME) and the PRIN Research Project “Legal Pathways for Refugees in the Euro-Mediterranean Context” (EuroPathways) – will take place on October 10 and 11, 2024 in Lampedusa and will focuses on the developments of migration and asylum policies in the EU in the Artificial Intelligence (AI) age.

Like the previous editions, the aim of the Colloquium is to enhance the scientific contribution of early-career researchers in migration studies (PhD students, postdoctoral researchers, research fellows), by promoting an interdisciplinary debate with senior scholars.

How to apply

Candidates may apply by 15 June 2024 by sending their proposals at accademia.immigrazione@gmail.com. Each proposal shall include: i) an abstract in Italian or English (400 words maximum); a short bio (200 words maximum). Successful applicants will be notified by 30 June 2024. The paper to be presented in the Colloquium shall be sent within 20 September 2024 at the above-mentioned email address.
